Dr Colm Harney

Dr Colm Harney graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1993. He has worked as a GDP in the private and public sectors in Ireland, UK and Australia, and is a Dentolegal Consultant with Dental Protection Limited. Colm has completed postgraduate studies in Communication Skills, Alternative Dispute Resolution and has worked in Healthcare dispute resolution as an accredited mediator prior to joining DPL in 2020. In addition to his role as a Dentolegal consultant, Colm continues to work part-time in the same practice he has been in since 2007. 

Dr Howard Holmes

Dr Holmes is a specialist orthodontist with practices in Cannington and Margaret River. He completed his general dental training and specialist orthodontic training at the University of Western Australia (UWA) and has been in specialist orthodontic private practice since 2000. Dr Holmes has held numerous professional appointments including President of the Dental Study Group of WA, WA Federal Councillor and Federal President of the Australian Society of Orthodontists (ASO) and is currently the WA state branch President of the ASO. As a spokesperson for the ASO, Dr Holmes has been engaged by numerous media agencies including A Current Affair, Today Tonight, ABC Radio, The Sydney Morning Herald, The West Australian and Choice Magazine to discuss important consumer related orthodontic matters. Dr Holmes has also served as both a clinical supervisor and examiner at the postgraduate orthodontic program at UWA and currently sits on the board of studies in orthodontics for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Dr May Lam

May completed her Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from UWA in 2011. Thereafter, she worked privately and taught at the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia (OHCWA). She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) and completed her Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology training at The University of Queensland in 2021. May is currently a Senior Lecturer at the UWA Dental School and has also been invited to lecture at The University of Sydney. She is a secretary of the Australian Academy of Dento-Maxillofacial Radiology (AADMFR). She has published in and serves as a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals and is a co-author of the ADA’s Practical Guide to Dental Radiology (2019).


Dr Greg Celine

Dr Greg Celine is a specialist paediatric dentist with a special interest in the treatment of medically compromised children. Greg completed his undergraduate studies at Griffith University on the Gold Coast and his specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry at the University of Western Australia.  He works as a full-time consultant paediatric dentist at Perth Children’s Hospital and splits his time between clinics, theatres, supervising the current registrars in paediatric dentistry, and other administrative duties. He is also the current president of the WA Branch of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry.

Dr Brad Shepherd

Dr Shepherd is a board certified Prosthodontist. His focus is optimal clinical management within a framework of interdisciplinary care. He is a past-president and life member of The Academy of Australian and New Zealand Prosthodontists. He has held honorary teaching positions at OHCWA and retains an involvement with the ADC in assessing and reporting the educational aspects of prosthodontic programs in Australia and New Zealand.
